Parental Cooperation

At IFS we are striving to develop collegial sharing and cooperation in order to optimize our support for teaching and learning. To promote collegial sharing, Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline, helping their children prepare their lesson and taking helpful interest in the activities of the school.

  • Classera Classlight LMS (Learning Management System) is the main hub to provide Learning resources, Weekly Plans, Assignments, Announcement/ Notices to the students and parents regularly. Email and Discussion groups are effective means of communication among Parents, Students and Teachers.
  • Social Media Groups: Whatsapp groups are another alternative to expedite communication among all the stakeholders.
  • To give good scope for individual attention, for better understanding between the teachers and the students.
  • We organize Parent-teacher Meet (PTM) for the parents so that they meet the teachers and discuss the progress of their children once or twice per semester. Parents are advised to meet the teachers compulsorily on the same day. Parents are not allowed to get into the classroom to see the students or meet their teachers during the class hours. Prior permission from the principal is needed if they desire to discuss the progress of their children with their teachers.
  • As regular attendance is an important element of successful schoolwork, no student should be absent from the class without serious reason. Parents must clearly state the reason for absence.
  • Children who get sick, will not be allowed to attend the school until he/she is recovered and provide Medical Report to the School.
